As i was fitting my new comp brake dumpvalve i noticed i had a split in one of my hoses.

Its the hose that goes from the top of the engine block down into the turbo area i think its kind of shaped like a "Y" it goes past the dump valve and down into the depths of the engine i knw its a pretty sh#t description just wondering what it is and what it does?

And if anyone knew how much it was from the dealers that would be great.

very common best to uprate it with a silicone one or fit a catch can

just replaced mine with an uprated one
