hi all

i am woundering if lowering springs from a mk4 golf will fit a mk1 octavia vrs.... as they are based on the same chassis i have been told they will fit, but some advice is bad advice..lol

please help me out

They do fit but the but your Octy wont sit right or handle as well as you'd like, H&R springs about the best for the VRS, not cheap though. By the time you get shock's too match, you could of got some coilovers, Weitec etcemoticon-0148-yes.gif

yup, another member has just found out fitting golf stuff has ruined the handling on his vrs.

i wont be fitting mk4 springs to my car then.. as i like it to handle like it should....and not like a broken trolly jack lol
