sorry tryed replying off my phone lol :giggle: yeh they are 5x100 think they are et38 mate. i have tryed a 235x35x19 wheel on my car last week but the lad wanted too much, the wheel was on the front and i locked to locked it and there was no scrubbing or owt seemed to clear everything but dunno how it would do on roundabouts. aggghhhh just need some wheels im in need of tranforming the look of my car so people dont think its a f****ing taxi lol

im not a 100% mate with 8.5 wide rims id go on a limb and say with a et38 your going to be close on the inside

whether a 235 would cause trouble on the back, id prob say yes it will bite you in the arse at some point :smirk:

most folk go et35 8j and 225s

i got et35 225s onthe 20s on coilovers and it doesnt catch

thats the other thing......... with stock suspension the bounce is going to be alot more :wonder: hmmm

ive never actually looked how much clearanc ethere is on the inside tho tbh tho

and with 19s your going to be up in size and width , im about to go 19s if anyhelp but its going to be 8x19 and et 30 and 215 tyres but thats cos im sneaking out the arch lol :giggle: have you access to peeking what clearance is on the inner side

think im just guna go for sum 225x40x18's lol sound too much hasle for wat its worth plus hes just told me they rub on his golf mk4 r32 so guna give them a wide berth lol cheers anyway mate

225/40/18s mate will fly on, et35 i had them and no issues, my mate had them with stock suspension and no issues, my brother had them on just springs and no issues

if they rub on a mk4 mate then they'd rub on the octy, mk4s seem to take wheels very well

keep us posted with pics mate

if you dont want trouble then you've prob made a wise choice ;)

any idea what your after mate? or a budget?

cheers mate

i run 225/40/18's et37 8x18 with coilovers and only have the odd scrape when it's fully loaded, but i've got mine wound down and its rather low so you should have no problems
