Does anyone know when production of the current facelifted Fabia ends please and a new model introduced? Am asking so that I can make a sensible judgement on whether to buy new early next year or wait for the brand new model. Thank you.

I don't know for certain, but I should expect a good two and a half years minimum till the next version. Most cars have a 'life' of about 7-8 years with a midlife facelift though obviously this varies. The mk 2 fabia's recent facelift was a bit early at more or less 3 years, so i suspect it's overall life will be a bit shorter than average, perhaps being replaced early/mid 2013. It is the only one of the 4 VW group minis still on the previous generation platform which might suggest a relatively early replacement. However, while the facelift's external changes are not dramatic, it has a virtually all new engine range which slightly betters its cousins, so there's life in it yet!
