Hello all im going to be buying a fabia vrs somtime this week and reallly looking forward to it. I have read nothing but good reviews about them.

Im after some advice on performance mods, i plan to get the car remaped more or less straight away and i have a few £££ extra to spend on a few mods before i do get it remapped. What would be my best options?

Cat back exhaust system?

or

Downpipe and decat?

or

Other?

also is this the correct splitter to fit the fabia?

Yep the splitter and strut brace are the ones for the Fabia, you will need to trim down the splitter to make it fit.

First of all i'd get both the splitter and the strut brace from your local Seat Garage. The splitters are about £19 atm, and strut brace is a little bit cheaper than the ebay link too, and plus you wont have to pay P+P on top.

I'd say enjoy the car first, get used to the power, then get it remapped. Its good to notice the differences. Each to their own though. Exhausts are down to personal preference. Some people say that decats kill turbo's on the vRS. 9/10 its bull, but i'd get it remapped by reputable company like P-Torque, Shark Performance, Jabba etc.
