I want some bonnet lifters for my vRS but I'm not sure which ones to go for. Has anyone got any that know fit well that they can link me to please?

PM devonutopia - he sells bespoke bonnet lifters at a very good price (or at used to...)

The Polo GT I looked at had them fitted as standard, as does my GTi, maybe try the VW dealers? They're like the boot rams, if that's what you're after.

Another nod to Devontopia from me too.

He uses a boot lifter I think.. but the clever bit is he gets a special bracket made that I believe screws/bolts into existing holes on the shell and no "hacking" is required.

Think he even gets them colour code them to the shell?

Yeah, still available, although generally everything has tailed off in regards to the lifters and the company making them for me prefers to make up three or four brackets at the same time to be more efficient. At the moment there are none made up.

I'm in if you need an extra buyer. I've been after one of these for a while and just never bothered myself but I think it would be a good idea to get one while they are still available rather than find out in 6 months time that they're gone forever!

There is no "group buy" as such, just the brackets being made at cost as and when people need them.
