60,000 miles. Personally I would get the water pump done while the engine's in bits anyway. For the cost of a water pump it would be silly not to and you'll have the peace of mind that it's not worn and may fail a week down the line, incurring more expense. :thumbup:

Or 4 years, if that comes up sooner than the 60,000 miles. Seems to be a universal VAG guidline.
