Arm Rest

Has anyone fitted an arm rest to a mk 1 Fabia

If anyone has i would be interested to see pics and also the make of the arm rest as im looking to fit one to my Furby

It looks pretty tacky, I'd love an arm rest but I can't imagine that suiting the car. :(

KAMEI - eve more expensive!

there was an offichal one but for some reason they didn't sell and as a result they're very rare.

The above options are your best bet. The official one attatched to bolt holes under the rear cup holder that are there on all fabia's and the arm its self a standard vw or seat part but a vital mount that goes between the 2 is what you'll sturrugle to find.

golf mk4 one fits with a slight bit of adjustment and matches the black interior better than the pic suggests

i have one in my mk4 golf!

absolute pest, gets in the way of everything, so it stays in vertical postion

If vertical, may as well stick an optic in it for the rear seat passengers' use? ;)

This is a picture of the mk4 or 5 golf arm rest.

The rest it's self is the same.. but the metal part differs on the fabia.

Maybe.. wonder if it'd be an easy bodge, like I said before.. im pretty sure the Fabia has the bolt hold under the centre consol already.

Hi, I have the Kamei one and I am very pleased with it, easy to fit . Fits under two bolts that hold the two front seats to the floor so you do not lose any cupholders or ashtrays.

Hi Folks

Thanks to all who replied to my post .

I was at my local scrap yard on Saturday tryn to get a vaux vectra cupholder to carryout a mod that i saw on this site and to my delight there was a mk1 octy that had an arm rest in it .

The arm rest looks like a mk4 golf one and is light grey i got both items for 20quid.

The arm rest is now fitted after a little bracket making and head scratching as the oe bracket does not fit a furby.

The cupholder mod still in the pipeline

Once again thanks to all who posted

Regards Whoosh

Thats a result.... New Fabia ones (And Roomster) Cost around £125 without fitting!

Sorry mate, only just seen this. This should help explain the fitting

You'll need to remove the contre console bit first

so I'd have to loose the rear cup holder!! that's rubbish.. as that's exactly where my car scent sits!!

or put the scent in the cubby directly under the steering wheel. Works for me!
