Been quoted £120 to spray the wheels anthracite and £50 for the chrome grill.

Might get the wheels sprayed another colour, my vrs is black and might go mad and get them sprayed alien green lol

How difficult would it be to spray the grill surround myself ? Can I buy a can of pain and laquer (sp) and give it a go? I have no garage or shed would need done out in the garden :/

At this time of the year forget spraying outside the paint will bloom as it's far too cold.

£50 quid isn't too bad i suppose as it would cost you £20 quid in materials and you know its going to be done correctly.

Just sprayed up some wheels myself. Cost around £60 in materials (paper, 2 cans of laquacer, 3 of white, 1 or 2 primer and some black plastic dye for the front grilles). Taking quite a while, although quite easy IMO (brand new so new imperfections or anything). As said it's too cold now, and I had a coat or two need redoing due to the temperature.
