engine management system

[tranmere]

just got back from a drive after my fabia 1 passed it's mot and the engine management system

light has come on. thinking it needs a diagnostic check and Possible replacement

any ideas on the costs for either of these and can the car be

driven whilst the light is on?

it is a 52 plate and has almost 26k on the clock

any tips you can give would be appreciated
