It is only available if you have the electrically adjusted seats with memory.

Standard on L&K, option on the Elegance

Hi on my superb you put the mirror adjusting switch to position ® and leave it there then when you select revers the mirror tilts down.if you have the hand book its on page 77 .bill

Yep, for the Octy2 this is the case. Require memory seats, which is a bit bizarre but there you go.

The Superb2 is a different kettle of fish :)

It needs the memory, which it gets from the seat controller to know where to put the mirror back to after reversing.

stick the selector on ® and then push down - the left and right mirror will both go down.

...But then you need to re-adjust them after every reversing manoeuvre!

you say re-adjust, but it takes seconds to move down and the same amount of seconds to move back up. UP/DOWN is the only adjustment.
