Taking apart lights

Featured Replies

Had a bad luck and parking light bulb fell into the headlight. Now I need to take it apart, but for this I need to remove the headlight. Is there any guide how to do it, so later, when I install it back, all the xenon etc work properly?

Changed a couple of things now I can view! Many thanks

If you drop a parking light bulb into a headlamp unit, remove the headlamp bulb and use a well chewed piece of chewing gum on a coathanger wire to get it out through the headlamp bulb aperture.

The problem was that I tried to fit in new bulbs, but they had a little defect and got stuck in the hole. I tried to pull them out, but then the back side of the bulb broke and fell in. That's why I got to take of glass of the light. But I think I will make How To for this. :).

Sorry guys. I took the front bumper off and the headlight also, but then discovered, that I could take the bulb out from the hole. So I didn't had to take apart the light at all. But I have some pic material for taking off bumper and lights. If anybody interested, then let me know.

Make a post with the pictures and a brief description mate, that would help a lot. :-)
