Faulty rear light

Featured Replies

On Sunday I replaced a suspected faulty rear parking light, it made no difference. I then suspected a blown fuse but thought my local dealer should have a look. After 30 minutes investigating they're scratching their heads - "need to book it in for at least a day"

They reckon some wiring could be damaged?!!! This, on a 2 month old car!...

The technician asked me where I bought the car... any ideas why  The car was supplied by Clock Garage Derby.

A bit worried now :(

Cheers,

Fixed yet?

Can I ask what is a parking light?

I think it's just the normal side light. If you park with the indicator on, the sidelights on one side stay on.

Right thats what I thought, its the side light is working then the bulb is obviously ok.

I'll have a look at the wiring diagram tomorrow and seee what goes where, migh be a problem with the cental electrics ECU but im not 100% sure if the parking lights go thru there.

I take it the parking light for the other side is working ok?.
