Sorry I think they are 38mm on the vrs, it took ages to load . best give them a ring to make sure

If they say canbus they are OK, I would always ring to check,I once ordered some from superskoda for the doors and they were totally wrong

Didn't think the Fabia was CANBUS? Thought it was only the main lights the warning worked with?

Don't think so anyway. Could be wrong, but thought Canbus was later (new design of cars from 2004?) onwards.

Sorry, I meant cars designed and launched from 2004 onwards, like the Citroen C4, the VW mk5 Golf, the Octavia 2 etc, rather than ones designed in say, 2000, like the Fabia.

Shouldn't that be "he knows more than I do" ?

My understanding is that the numberplate light is not covered by the bulb warning system since the manual states:

The warning light  comes on if a light bulb is damaged:

• brakes applied (brake light),

• in lighting (low beam and/or rear light).

A peep sounds as an additional warning signal.

Hence the reason you can fit LED front sidelights without a problem - at least I hope so - I ordered some today!

But then it also states:

We therefore recommend that you have any bulbs changed by a Å koda Service

Partner or, in exceptional cases, by calling on other professional assistance.
