Got my new car

Featured Replies

Finally got my new car today, very happy!

One question, when I look in maxi-dot at days/miles to next service its just got --- does this mean they have set it to fixed servicing?

Thanks

Andy

Theres always one show off. Congrats enjoy. What you got then? :giggle:

It will display that for a few hundred miles until it figures out your driving style/habit and then it will give you the miles to service.

Normal. Will take a few hundred miles before it kicks in. Mine was exactly the same.

Vauxhall Signum apparently, according to the profile ;)

Enjoy the new motor. And don't forget the profile update

Nice. You need to change your car in your profile from the Signum .

200 miles and I can already see that the light leather was a mistake :-( You live and learn....

Hello Andy,

Im thinking of changing my vectra 2.0T to get the same car as you, how do you find it compared to the old signum?? BTW you were over on vectra-c were you not??

Cheers Steven

Hi

It's a great car, but as you have the 2.0T I would deffo go for the petrol VRS. The 1.8Tsi is a nice engine but I think coming from 220bhp you would find it a little slow.

On the other hand, today I worked in south wales and manages 42mpg not taking it too easy on a new engine (800 miles now).

Also, the manual box is a push down for reverse, does anyone else find you dont have to push down very much and end up nearly engaging reverse? Maybe it's just us vauxhall drivers because we used to pulling a catch up to engage reverse.
