Yeti seen in Blackburn!

Yippee - Snow White is now Mine!

Collected her from Simpsons in Preston Yesterday afternoon and can't stop grinning- What a machine. No Names yet but quite fancy Shilpas (Shilpas Yeti!!! - Remember Her?) - Thanks to Matthew at Simpsons for delivering the goods but shame the tank was bone dry!

First impressions are fantastic , built like a brick outside toilet (Compared with last 3 Renaults) and so good to drive. We have bonded this afternoon over a bucket of soapy water and a sponge, very therapeutic indeed

Had a thought earlier, How about a VRS version of the Yeti Skoda? Sort of a Poor , or intelligent , Man's Q5 or X3? , It could be badged VRSM ,fitted with the Scirocco R motor and 4wd , in the same vein as an X5M or X6M would be a riot. Surely there are enough parts in the VAG bin to create this fairly easily and It would certainly give the "Beautiful Crowd" the hump?

Just have 2 niggles with mine though;

1 When pulling the drivers side wiper forward to clean the screen it fouls the rear edge of the bonnet. Is this normal or are mine set up different to everybody elses?

2 Can anybody please tell me how to get the Bluetooth working on a Bolero in my SE? I can access the menu from the radio and activate the Bluetooth but can't seem to go any further as regards pairing with a Sony Ericsson K610i. Should I have specified another option when ordering , although the brochure indicates the standard system is Bluetooth compatible?

If I get chance later , and can master the technology , I will post some photos

Hi garth, glad you're happy.

You set up your phone via ther maxi-dot display and then your phone 'phonebook' will transfer across.

Hi welcome to the club and enjoy your monster

Regarding the wiper hitting the bonnet they have to be put in the service position to lift them away from the screen. to do this put the key in the ignition turn it to the on position then turn it off but do not pull it out. press the wiper switch down once. the wipers will park in the service position and can be lifted clear of the screen ( to put them back just turn on the key and press the switch down again)

bluetooth not got one so can't help

I think I saw yours gleaming out back yesterday when we were there for a test drive.

From the test drives I've done they feel like great cars

The red car they use for test drives had next to no fuel either

Look at post #6 in this thread:

http://briskoda.net/forums/topic/177979-pairing-mobile-phone-to-bluetooth/

Dowload the Skoda PDF file that explains how to pair a phone. You can repeat this with up to five phones but only one can connect to the car at a time.

There is only one Bluetooth system availible. So if your phone does not work it is time to get a new phone. Far cheaper and easier than changing the car's system or installing an aftermarket version.

Thanks all.Seems like the problem is that I didn't tick the Bluetooth box when ordering and therefore have no phone option on the Maxidot.Seems silly that the radio has a function to enable bluetooth though.

Does anyone know if it can be retro-fitted?

I suspect so, as I was able to retro fit the oem kit to my Octavia.

There are others which integrate well. Fiscon rings a bell. It is a few hundred £££ though mabe about the same as an oem version with more functionality. Do a search on the Octavia forum and google.
