Help! Rain gets in trough roof rail or windscreen

Featured Replies

Got my new Octy 1.6 Greenline since two weeks and i absolutely love it. However, i noticed yesterday that i've got a leak. There is somehow water pouring in near the handle in the roof of the driver's seat (see picture attached). I don't know whether it comes from the roof rail (the bolts seem well attached but i don't want to open them to check) or from the top corner of the windscreen.

Anybody got experience with this issue??

Thanks!!!

Judging by the way the water pattern has left the mark its the front part of the roof rail that's leaking, take it to the dealers and get it looked at

I also think it most likely to be the roof rail.

Thinkyou need to drop the head lining to check it out.

Back to the dealer then for it to be checked and make sure you get a replacement lining!

Roof rail, if you try to move it or shake it , will do soo???.

Go to dealer, and do get the roof lining changed. The water marks will come off if washed proprely.

The bolts of the roof lining seem very firmly attached, perhaps the rubber closing doesn't fit proprely. I'll visit my dealer and keep you guys up to date.

Thnx for the suggestions everybody!

I forgot, can you see a small sponge under roof rail fixing. If you take the plastic cover I think their is a small hole so the water that passes through the cover can leave the interior and drop on the roof.
