Does anyone have any experience/view on the Volvo C30 R Design D5?

I saw one at a dealer this weekend and had a sit in it. It was lovely inside, if a bit cramped.

It was a white one and looked stunning, I was very tempted at £14500 for a 58 plate on 25000 miles.

I saw the pictures of one of these ages ago.

It was the first time i've wanted a volvo

Did consider them at one point. Like the shape and design and there's not many of them about.

The auto-only for the D5 put me off though. Think they might have introduced a manual option later on, perhaps for the MY08 cars?

Just a shame they grafted the standard nose on the front - I probably would have forgiven my old Megane coupe its numerous faults if it didn't look like a normal Megane from the front...

my mate has an S40 with this engine, its a goodun!

I had looked at these myself (V50 really) also, but couldnt justify the extra cost for something less practical than the Octy.

Bootspace is something that rhymes with bright.
