I ordered mine on 25th October and I am expecting it today. Actuallly, I hope today....

What you may don't know is that I am living in Athens..... B)

Where they don't sell much cars those days cause of the terrible economical situation Greece is into... And there are lot of cars waiting at the customs, so I think

that's why I don't have to wait that long to get mine...

Cheers

What kind of extras did you order? with panoramic roof?? and how much did you paid?

Thanks and I hope you receive your yeti today, the 1.4 engine is a very good option, possibly the best for me

Congratulations

Congratulations

It's the Ambition edition with the standard equipment, with no sun roof (cause i had to wait 3 months). Mato brown, 16'' Moon wheels, Swing radio CD etc...

I am very very curious to see the performance of the 1.4 engine cause I have only tested the 1.2... Which seemed little slow under 2000 rpms for my taste...

I have the car is beautiful, huge, brilliant colour (mato brown), luxary and looks premium...

My first impressions from my first 200klm of driving it, is that the 1.4 tsi feels a little bit more powerful than the 1.2tsi.

However, I hope it gets better from time to time, after the burning in period because I don't go over 3000 rpms until 1500klm. Can anyone confirm that?

I also like the brakes which are excellent, the suspension which absorbs easily the pupms but can also corner very well, I like the steering wheel,

the driving position and I thing I like everything. Can't think of anything negative maybe except the poor sound system (swing). Which I guess it lacks good quality sound speakers.

Regarding "running in" the engine.. whatever you do, dont press it hard untill engine get to normal working tempoerature.

Salesmen would say do not pass the 3K rpm for the first 1500-2000 kms, but there is some opinions it is better to pres it hard once it is warm.

First Yeti I was running in quietly, but on the one on order.. I will try this "run it hard" tip , or I will never know the difference :)
