i am owner of Skoda Fabia 1.9sdi 2003

62000 km till today

few weeks ago i experienced strange sound while releasing the clutch when i am starting in first gear or going reverse.this is also the problem when starting from standstill in 2nd gear but it isn't happenig in other gear positions!?

changing gears runs smoothly and feeling on gear pedal is also same like first day.

Sound is very strange like rattle or something?

can anyone help?

possibly down to clutch release bearing/input shaft bearing on the gearbox.. you might not be hearing it in other gears because of noise etc.

i went to the mechanic and he said that everything is ok with transimission and engine

possibly some vibrations from the exaust or some other elements maybe dashboard?

this is the official Skoda mechanic and the biggest garage in Belgrade but i am still without answer...
