Hello, I'm new here. Just thought I would say "hi".

I have owned my '95 Favorit with just under 100,000 miles on the clock for three years. What an amazing little car she is. I live in Buxton, Derbyshire and we had snow for three months of the winter 2009-10 and it never let me down. When only 4 x 4's were getting around and other vehicles sliding and getting stuck my little Favorit dilligently kept on going (even without snow tires) and only had to be dug out once when the snow turned to slush.

She's about to get a new clutch and battery and has a few rusty bits of bodywork - and I suspect a water leak from the Firewall into the passenger footwell if its facing downhill, but apart from that its brilliant. I work as a clergyman and often have to visit the hospital or the crem in Macclesfield and the favorit reliably plods up and down the cat and fiddle. When I take my kids to Uni - no problem - car full of caboodle with stuff on the roof rack as well, never misses a beat.

It may be useful that one of my children is about to marry a girl from the Czech republic.......needless to say she likes my car even though one of my daughters (who has no taste) hates it.

Hi and welcome aboard.
