  • Yeah go back to the old skool Jurrasic coast meets and make it a mental Day trip then probably tag on a evening stay somewhere

Just got home after a nice relaxing steady run in the "Brisk-Rover" :D

Many thanks to everyone for a very enjoyable weekend.

Just got home safely. Thanks to all for a great weekend, must do it again !. On the way home managed to get the SE into limp mode again (this time on purpose), but now know why.

Cheers

Karl & Caroline

thanks for organizing it all jason, it was a great day... i managed to scrape a measly 41mpg for the entire day, not bad considering...

p.s my pickup officially doesn't like west country petrol, it was just a slight bit of pinking on the steep hills which i cured by winding back the ignition timing a couple of clicks at the roadside

Thats the good thing about some of those roads I chose. You can maintain what feels like a reasonably fast 60mph, given some of the bends, etc, and still be in eco-mode. :D

I managed to get home at 1am this morning (satnav sent me up the A34).

The route was very good.

Cracking pics there guys.

i would have worn shorts too but it would have given all the ladies on the beach the total horn so it would have been unfair to everybody else

  • 1 year later...

Any chance of getting another Jurassic Coast meet set up for next year?? :notme:

I know this is normally tagged onto the WSM meet but it would be good to set up a stand alone one on a Saturday if possible and i might actually be able to make it without the worry of work the next day.

It won't be tagged on to WSM again I don't think as that's usually a full weekend. Unless Will thinks otherwise. I could sort out a run so people stay down my way in Exmouth rather than in Brean.

I'd be more than up for that, straight run (almost) for me to get there and can stay over night on Friday and Saturday then.

Sounds like fun, if you set it up count me in.
