Cruise control

Featured Replies

I have just realises that my car has been partially fitted with cruise control. It's got the stalk/lever fitted but the previous owner didn't get round to fitting anything else.

Where's best to get the harness from?

Have seen one on eBay but it's a full kit for around £70, but can I buy the harness separate for less?

Also is the much work involved in fitting the rest?

Isn't it just a VAGCOM download seeing as you've already got the correct stalk?

No you need the wiring harness to go with it. They only come with the kit but I could make one for you.

How much and how easy would it be to fit?

i got the full kit, (wiring, stalk, instructions) from TPS for £45. its not massive job if u know what ur doing, and it helps to extend the "white" wire to the ecu. then u need to enable it with vagcom. took me about 4hours to complete.
