Front grille trim

Featured Replies

Just to alert folks. When I picked up my new Yeti, I noticed that the 'plastic chrome' trim above the front grille was marked - there was a couple of places to each side with a discoloured area. The valeter at Progress Skoda in Bedford, where I bought it, had noticed it too, and confirmed that nothing he had would clean it. So they kindly placed a new one on order.

I heard today that there is a bit of a delay getting the replacement as, I was told, quite a lot are being ordered at present, for the same reason. Progress have others on order and I guess there is a problem in manufacturing. You have to look quite closely to notice it - but when you do look closely it is quite clear as a brownish looking discoloured area in the chrome some 2 x 10 cms in size. So folks picking up new cars, do have a close look to ensure yours is OK.

BTW, if I am allowed to say this, Progress Skoda have been great to deal with - all I expected, and I am a bit picky! I have no other connection except as a very pleased customeremoticon-0144-nod.gif
