Are there any websites that sell upgraded intercoolers? I'm not after a front mounted one cos they are rather pricey.

now im unsure if it will fit a fabia vrs but for £100 i think it looks like it will fit

if not you can always re-list it as there sought after

if it does fit a furby would it make any noticeable difference do we think? and would anything else need changing?

i think you probaly just cut the collars off the oem pipes as you would do with the allard egr kit, and then clamp it up

The uprated SMIC makes sense, looks chunky and should be good for basic remaps, less lag as well.

We need a product review for uprated SMIC. So you are the one to do it first.

I've emailed the seller to see if it will fit the fabia. Looking into it a little bit VW use the same intercooler across the range on petrol and diesels, so fingers crossed it'll work :-)

is there enough space for it to fit? thats the part im unsure of, i cant remember how much room is actually down there!

He just replied, saying that he wasn't sure if it would fit, but if I could get a pic of the standard fabia one he would know for sure!

Have alook under your wheelarch and see how much space you have now, if there is a couple of inches of gap all around I would imagine you could make it fit .

tbh i havent looked at it closely to notice, i also havent the balls to be the 1st to try it and find out the hard way either...

I'm sure the seller would not mind taking it back if it doesn't fit. If it does then that would be a whole new market for him, it would be in his interest to allow a sale or return.

they look like they have all been sold now anyway as its ended on ebay, will have to see if they get re-listed
