Doesn't Audi offer the unit with 120bhp in the A4? Looks like they haven't bothered to downgrade it for the skoda - now there's a surprise!;)

This video looks familiar....

Cheers Jason

VAG have been well known for being liberal with their output figures for a while.

Aargh, I should have ordered the diesel! Actually, I will really miss the torque of the diesel when I get my petrol Yeti.

Yes the quoted power outputs across the board are understated by VAG.

I always felt the 108bhp stated by Skoda wasn't quite right. My 110 can shift a bit when needed!

Autoexpress had a Ford S-Max TDCI remapped, and like my previous Mazda was stated as 134bhp but the rolling road results (before mapping) gave it 148bhp. So some leeway in the power output. It would be interesting to find out what the rolling road figures are for the 138 and 168 CR TDI's......?

I would also be interested in the 'other' 110. The 4x4 version has a different engine code albeit the two 110's and the 140 are the same family of engine.

110 2wd - CFHA

110 4x4 - CFHF

140 4x4 -CFHC

Note: the current 170 has a different code -CFJA

edit: all above are second generation CR engines.

The other 110 ( 4x4 version) is quoted with the same power output, but higher torque figures.

Hi,

yes 250Nm v 280Nm for the 4x4. Be interesting to know how accurate these figures are, particularly as I'm planning to step down from the 140 to the 110 4x4 (it's the lead; sent me barking mad  )
