'Selfish Detailing'.......

Featured Replies

Very nice job there Simon, interesting selection of new toys and goodies to play with too.

Spent 3hrs on my VRS today after covering 1100miles last week heading down to Cornwall.

Sadly i'm not good at doing the picture diary on the job! :giggle:

Hope all is well with you bud.

Cheers,

Ste.

Where can I get some of the - 'Black wow'.

I have been asked to do the trim on my sisters polo and am tempted to give this a go...

Have a look on the net mate and you will find a UK seller, there aren't many...........

Showed Jules the sheep pic and she loved it, made her laugh..........

It was custom made for me by a mate a Prodrive, one-off really, it's a modified OEM aerial......... ;)

Very nice , and up to your usual high standard.

I have a question.

Why do the wheels 1st as when you wash the car after this, any dirt can run down onto the nice shiny work ?

Many thanks and no problems on the question, the wheels take time and to be honest there is little dirt that will get on them, they will always get wet again at some stage so it's not an issue, most detailers do them first as well..............

ho mate, great work!! car looks brilliant, like what you have done to it :) so whats in the silver bottles?

new camera looks ace ;)

If I told you I would have to kill you.................. ;)

Well chuffed with the camera...........

Cheers for response, I suppose if they get streaked with dirt draining from the car, a quick spray & wipedown will restore them back.

Once they are clean and you have then cleaned all the paintwork, a simple rinse will get rid of anything on them followed by drying............

in that case i would rather not know ;)

Nah, basically the products have been given to me by a fellow detailer who has a pretty impressive business if you ask me but as he isn't a 'Supporter' on DW I knew I would get into trouble with advertising if I showed his branding............... :S

Saying that I am going to try and organise a Group Buy on a few items of his if Briskoda will let me.......... :|

excellent, will look out for the details then :)

Good to hear from you Clive and sounds like you have got yourself an even nicer camera, show off....................... ;)

For anyone that may have been interested in the Lambs Wool Wash Pad and a Lambs Wool Wheel Mitt I was using, check this out:

Still looking tidy Simon.

New wheels again? How long have you had those on? Although haven't really been on here lately to be fair for various reasons.
