SuperPRO dogbone n allard egr

Featured Replies

just fitted a superpro dogbone engine mount, what a difference it makes no more engine rock!!! and better gear change!

also fitted the allard egr delete kit, it seems to pick up better but....

when i am turning the engine off it seems to judder, is it because theres nothing it back as in the egr valve??

I think the standard EGR pipe has the anti-shudder valve in it, so removing it will give you that feeling.

Just sold my SuperPro as I didn't like it.

What didn't you like about it?

Vibrations coming into the cabin.

How long was it fitted for? ive read several accounts of the vibrations decreasing in time [500 mile ish] emoticon-0148-yes.gif

yeh the 80 is quite harsh apparently, ive stuck to the '70' when i bought mine last week, it is of cause an age thing aswell, emoticon-0136-giggle.gif

About 5K miles. And it was the mild road one which I fitted. Not saying its crap as it does a very good job of reducing engine movement, just not to my taste for my everyday road car.

i know what you mean, tbh when i was a young lad i didnt mind anything vibration/rattle wise, you just turn the music up but nowadays i do get fed up with it, ill see how long mine stays on [not even fitted it yet emoticon-0136-giggle.gif ]

I've just finished fitting the dogbone with superpro bush I got off faboka vrs and what a difference it's made, gear changing is just so much smoother and actual driving feels alot stiffer too

The only thing with it is the vibration but thats only at idle so nothing major and doesn't really bother me :)

Good mapping  Its not actually caused by a proper "fault" but is just symptomatic of the car looking for the EGR and it finding it not there / measurements outside tolerances. Any decent mapper should be able to turn it off / delete it. I know mine has I've not had CEL since the engine rebuild. I got it all the time with previous mapping.....
