Side mirror signal lights not working

Featured Replies

Hi everybody,

I've recently bought a second hand 2007-made Skoda Superb 2.0 TDI (140 HP) and both side mirror signal lights do not work at all. As far as I can see, there are two LEDs in each of the two side mirrors, none of them works. Could anyone suggest the most plausible causes for this behaviour?

Thanks,

In the Mk1 Superb, these are puddle lights, not indicators. They should come on when you unlock the car with the remote - to light up the floor outside near the door, so you don't step in a puddle!

not sure if it is meant to be an indicator in the MK 2 though (yours is a Mk2?, if not, then they prpobably are just puddle lights)

If your puddle lights are out first check under the front passenger seat for wet carpet.

My Superb is a B5 (3U) with facelift and the mirrors are fitted with puddle lights (which actually work) AND with signal lights (see the two red circles) which don't work, neither on the left nor on the right side.

So the puddle lights are not my issue, but the signal lights are.
