Problems with Octy Standard Headunit

Featured Replies

Seems as though out of nowhere, the sound on the stereo changes quality. The closest thing i can think of is that it seems as though the loudness is flicking on and off - only occasionally though.

Help!

Hmm...not something I've ever come across. Wonder if there's some sort of safeguard on the amplification circuits which is kicking in?

My advice would be to get a dealer to look at it if it's under warranty (they'll probably just swap it out), or if not, just get an aftermarket HU, which will be better anyway... ;)

If it's at different speeds maybe it's just the Gala function.

I thought that at the start, but the other day, it got louder as i slowed down to approach a traffic jam.
