Fabia alarm trouble

Featured Replies

Hi all, i'm hoping someone may be able to point me in the right direction with this car. It is a 2000 plate fabia 1.9tdi and the alarm goes off when ever it feels like it. I have checked faults codes in all ecu's ( using expert mode on solus pro ) and the only code is 01135 interior monitoring in the comfort control module. If I look at measuring blocks 015 in the comfort module the last four trigger codes are 17 which I believe is read immobiliser. Does anyone have any pointers on where I should be looking as i'm not really familiar with these systems?

Thanks

Matt

It's very rare that the immo would trigger an actual alarm event, could you post an Auto-Scan as well as the values from MVB 011, 013, 014 and 015 of the comfort control module?

Hi, thanks for the reply, I'll get all the info for you. I did try and set the alarm the other day by opening the drivers window, locking the car and waiting for everything to set, then I opened the bonnet and doors etc to see if I could narrow it down. Everything set the correct code except the drivers door which set 17 so am wondering whether my problem lies in that area. Have you ever seen this?

Thanks

Matt
