just took my car for it's first MOT,while i was there the lady in reception gave me a leaflet about Skoda's Used Car Service Plan costing £299 for 2 years servicing .she said the 4th service is expensive so the plan is a good idea.

the braking fluid was changed at it's 3rd service so it can't be that,so why would it be so expensive ?

fuel filter,air filters timing belt change?you need to check they do tend to be expensive,but depends on the mileage and stuff I reckon the service would be costing £190 for each year so you could be saving some dosh?

Messed up my first try Sorry. Just wanted to add, it seems the lady receptionist was referring to 4th service including the cambelt change. The good news in this case is that the 1.2 6v and 12v (70) DON'T have a cam belt but are chain driven. Therefore no cambelt change to do.

1.2 12V - Extra servicing at 40,000 miles/4 years....

Spark plugs (3 off at £2.30 odd ea at GSF). Air Filter (around £8)

All extremely easy 5 minute DIY jobs and not worth the £££ that Dealers charge.
