Quick question

Just bought a replacement fob as my old one was done, How to I programme if to operate the central locking? It's the 2 key fob.

I bought a new key cut from a photograph of my original on eBay. The guy cut the blade perfectly. I tried programming it myself with some guides that say you can do it in the ignition, but it never worked. I then took it to Skoda and paid the £30.

What you should have done is buy this:

Then swap the internals (including the immobiliser chip that looks like a grain of rice)

Then swap the blades over

And hey presto one brand new looking fob and no coding to be done.

Did both of my keys few weeks back and all is good
