i have a 2001 fabia 1.4 mpi estate when i put on the heater from cold it takes a long time to get warm and then thats all it is just a bit warm and the temp guage only read up to the 1/4 mark can anyone help

Not very technical me I'm afraid - but a car taking a long time to warm up can suggest a thermostat stuck in the open position. And staying cool could mean a fan stuck on...

could be a faulty thermostat
