Can someone please tell me what bulbs i need to a VRS. I believe the main beam are H1 is this correct? Also what are the sidelight and fog light bulbs codes?

I would look but i cant do it in the daylight until the weekend.

That is providing you car isn't just a few years old - as many newer (last 3 - 4 years) models are not listed

Good point, I'd hoped that the bulbs were the same despite the facelift.

However, the rear stop and fog lamp bulbs are now single filament, I notice that it still lists them as dual filament which is correct for Octavia's up to 2006 but not for the later years.

I always thought that dipped headlights were H7, main beam H1 and the front fogs H8?

Someone will be along to confirm or correct me.

What year is your vRS Whizzler?

Side light bulbs are straight forward - W5W 501 (assuming it's not a facelift as these just dim the LED DRL's)

Headlight low beam = Light bulb H7, 12 V, 55 W

Headlight High beam = Light bulb H1, 12 V, 55 W

Parking Light = Light bulb W5W, 12 V, 5 W (unless you have the LED newer type)

Indicator = Light bulb PY21W, 12 V, 21 W

Front Fog = bulb -“H1†12 V, 55 W (unless you have the LED newer type)

Thanks for the replies. Its a 55 plate 2006. I was just abit doubtful of some of the guides as they listed my dipped beam as H7 when there are actually xenons

If you have factory-fitted xenons, the main beam bulb is still an H1 on your Octy. Fogs are also unchanged, requiring an H8.
