Does anyone know whether you need code for the symphony head unit fitted as standard on the Fabia vrs se? ( the manual can't make it's mind up whether it does or not).

If so how do you get hold of it?

Yes it does. It should be on the first page of the manual. Hand writen.

I seem to remember it also on a sticker ontop/behind the dash clocks? Or am I thinking of the old 4 digit SKC code :wonder:

Can my local mechanic get the code from the ecu, or is it a trip to skoda? (no sign of radio code in any of the manuals sadly)
