Erm well mine was the test bed. The technicial said to me after he need not have done it! So they know now hot to do it without dismantling the whole interior!

Enjoy your day and snow on your trip home sounds great!

Sorry to read about the filler flap problem, must admit i had no problems with my SM so far.Have a safe journey home and enjoy the SM to the max, looks like you've got some good weather to try her out in

Have a good drive up and enjoy your new monster.

Harvey's Home.......(after long rail delay.......) Probably the shortest handover in history, then just in time to negotiate the M25 carpark in rush hour. Busy drive home in the traffic and darkness(what fabulous xenons.!) Averaged just less than 40 mpg keeping up with the traffic :notme: Lovely drive home ,but " It's grim down south " :D

So you didn't get a bunch of flowers and big "Enjoy your new car" greetings card on the back seat and a kiss from a scantily clad accounts clerk?. I gather the absence of time spent with the customer is par for the course there....but the couple of grand off the price will be warming the cockles of your heart, as well as the heated seat warming the wrinkles of your ar..............Right, enough of that!

Have either of you (who both bought through DtD) had the SUK £150 compensation for delivery longer than 18 weeks?

If so did the dealer offer it or did you ask SUK directly?

Didn't need to . I was quoted 14/16 weeks delivery, and it was spot on.

Ah thanks, I will send a Johann a PM then (sorry for the Hi-jack)

Quite. I could buy fresh flowers for the rest of my life with the money saved though. (We didn't even get a coffee . But we did get a smile ,and 1 gallon of diesel to reach the garage of our choice.) :giggle:

Gizmo - I think you'll find it's in the gift of the dealer - rather than SUK...

Mine will kick in from week 50.....and I think it's in the form of credit for parts/accessories/servicing?
