Hi guys,

when i was putting a new cigarret ligther (a chinese one) in to my 99 Felicia i blow out some fuse ...

Now the cigarret ligther , interior light , dashboard clock , don't work.

I guess, and maybe rigth, i blow out some fuse.

What i want to know is, how to check if a fuse is bad.

And where is the fuse that i blow, does someone know's where is it , or have a diagram for the fuse box of a 99 Felicia ?

yup, fuse F15, 15amp. may be a spare clipped in the bottom of the fuse box, otherwise you can pick them up anywhere like halfords for next to nothing

fusebox under dashboard above where passengers feet would be, knob unscrews off and fusebox drops down

edit: do they have halfords in portugal? anywhere that sells car stuff

i may find a spare fuse to replace the damaged one, i have 3 or 4 different voltage fuses on the fuse box, just have to see if they fit.

also i work on a car radio factory, i can get the rigth voltage fuse easly.

But what do you mean about "halfords" ? is that a car service garage or something like that ?

if so, yes, we have many, but not that one

Look in the window on the face of the fuse -the link should be visible( on a good one), or missing on a dud .

Else - test on ohms ( out of circuit) on a meter .( short circuit/low ohms on good one , no reading on dud)

Else - use a torch bulb and TORCH battery ,with fuse linking one side of battery to lamp.( outer of bulb to one terminal, other terminal to one side if fuse ,other side of fuse to centre of lamp .Lamp lights -fuse ok . To check all is well , test lamp lights without fuse ( put bulb across battery)
