Right, I have fitted the new pipe and expansion bottle and now the pipe is leaking around where it joins onto the connector. I have tried refitting it and it lasts a little bit longer but it is still empying the expansion bottle in around 3/4 miles. Can anyone tell me how I can stop the pipe leaking around the edge? I have just bought some hose clips and I am going to use them to replace the sprung clip. Will this cure it or are there also other things I could be doing?

The hose end may by cold and hard so will not make a snug fit on the connecter, is there enough slack in the hose to chop 1/2" of the pipe end and reconnect?

If not then wack a Jubilee clip on and tighten.
