Brake Lights work with car off!

Featured Replies

Hi,

In not sure if this is a normal 'Skoda' thing, or related to my dodgy fuel filler cap, but I've noticed that my brake Lights work even after the engine is off....and the key is out of the ignition....and with the driver door open! Is this normal?

All my other electronics are fine; even the rear interior light that stopped working, has started working again. At one point, my volume control on my steering wheel went for a while, but its back now. So apart from my fuel filler cap, its all good. Looking under the drive seat tomorrow, but wanted to gague the views on the Brake Lights please...

Cheers

Is this normal?

Yes, completely normal, I think you'll find all cars are the same irrespective of brand
