hi the 90 degree pipe on the top of the intercooler blown off other mounth due to the little lumps off metal on the bit that goes inside of the intercooler wearing off! lol so i bort a new part from skoda and it has blown off again can any1 help me as to y this keeps happening pllzzzzzzzz thankx

Did you change the spring clip that secures the hose into the IC?

These wear and the ends can also snap off them, they are only about a quid from the dealers.

You would still need an adapter to convert to the push fitting.

As said either the spring clip is worn or broken or the intercooler itself it damaged.

took the part off tday to take back too the dearlers nowt wrong with the pipe but thort id try n get a exchange for 1 anywayz lol

then took the clip off and the end bit has snapped off :'( so new clip for me also the bit at the top of the intercooler were the clip sits has cracked so wen i have my new clip shud i put a jubilee clip on to hold it in place so it never cums off again ?

Sounds like it needs a new intercooler then to me, the clip wont stay in place if the housing has cracked.

how much we talkin :'(
