Interesting part

I dont know have anyone considered this item, i think it would look good on Yeti , and it can be painted also.

Yeti - ORIGINAL (!) Skoda Auto,a.s. fender flares full set

It gives sportier look to the car and it is practical because it protects parts that can be damaged by stone(stone chips). I think I wll take it for my monster but yet to be considered.

Have anyone bought this ? Or anyone from Nederland, on Expedition pack?

Hi,

I think there are a couple of us who are interested in this.

Unfortunately, they are still not available in the UK yet, I have been asking different dealers, some reply that they don't stock it and it isn't available and hopefully after the new years it will be available.

Check out the SMOC Flickr, it has some good pics of the wheel arch extension and also a thread on the Paris motorshow in this forum

I note the small print on the superskoda site, says.... not for cars with rear park assist.... not for cars fitted with front mudflaps.

Which may be an issue for folk here who want to protect the paintwork further back along the side of the car!

Otherwise they look a great idea. I've always thought that the wheel arch edge of the rear doors particularly vunerable to stone chips.

Mind you, wasn't the original Yeti concept shown with plastic wheel arch protection anyway???!!

I think this is on my list of 'to-do's'

Our neighbour has a Steel grey Tiguan and when our cars are parked in a row, the most noticeable difference are the plastic arch attachements - I think it finishes it off a treat and gives it a more solid look to the vehicle for some reason. :)

I wonder if judicial use of a stanley knife might make the combination of these trims and front mudflaps feasible?

It would be a shame to have to junk the front mudflaps to add these.

I agree. I think they make the Yeti look more 'Landy-like' - not sure if that's a good thing or not. Are these bonded on in some way? I would also be concerned about them being a trap for mud/salt etc. Otherwise - yes, I think I like the look too!

BUT- they do look somewhat pricey to me for what they are...

Edit - BTW - I find it a bit depressing that Skoda have not imagined that most folk who would want these, would also want front flaps!

They are 'glued' in place with Skoda provided product (available separately). Hence the recommendation that they be fitted by the dealer (not that they will have any more experience at fitting them than the owner but at least you're covered in the event they mess up, one would hope).

I bought this fender flares set from superskoda, total prise € 322,-

Not for Yeti with rear parking assist PLA (PR no 7X5) and not for Yeti with front mud flaps (KEA 630 001)

These set is a little differant from the "Expedition pack"
