I was trying to replace the rear wiper fuse today on my 2003 Skoda Fabia 1.2 & before I came across this site I was simply removing a fuse & replacing it with another until the rear wipe starting working. I managed to do this but now the airbag light is staying on?

It is worth noting that the ignition was switched on while I was trying the fuses.

Any ideas??

You probably removed the airbag fuse and replaced it, but this triggered the light.

Just need someone local with vagcom to reset the fault code on section 15, airbags.

Thanks, so I don't so it again which one is the airbag fuse, I can't see any reference to it in the manual.

Also apart from the airbag not working what damage if any will be caused if I leave it?

I don't see the airbag mentioned, so possibly linked in to one of the other fuses. The fuse layout should be in your owners manual too somewhere.

I have the same problem, after replacing fuse for the wiper wash (as the wipers stopped working during the snow) the airbag light is now on...not sure which fuse did it though, any ideas?

Isn't the airbag fuse one of the ones on top of the battery? Either way, my wife's had it come on after having a new battery fitted, and it didn't go off without VAG-COM...
