1.4TSi Remap results inc ITG Induction Kit

Featured Replies

Thought you Fabia 1.4TSi contingency boys would like a heads up on the performance available right now for your new VRS'2's

Unfortunately I dont have a graph for a stock Stage 1 on our engine's so a Stage 1 + ITG Induction kit will have to do.

My Car STOCK 99RON Vpower

I'm guessing you guys have your battery in the boot like our MY11's. You'll have extra space in this case.

Rolling road result. Not sure what fuel this is using

So analyzing the graph you will see this combination will net you (roughly)

CLUTCH POWER for Fly wheel add around 13%

Standard @ 4200rpm = 140BHP

REVO + ITG @ 4200rpm = 160BHP

20BHP more

Standard @ 5500rpm = 170BHP

REVO + ITG @ 5500rpm = 201BHP

31BHP more

Standard

Standard @ 6200RPM = 140BHP

REVO + ITG @ 6200rpm =185BHP!!!

45BHP more

Basicly a different car higher up the rev range..

So in figures we all know..

178BHP and 250Nm Book figure

vs

194BHP and 277Nm My standard car run on v-power

vs

228BHP and 310Nm Revo + ITG

50BHP and 60Nm up on Book figure PEAK power.

That's pretty good. Good info to know.

Also if you look at the torque the Peak torque is lower down in the rev range so as long as you dont boot it and stay in a low gear your not going to get clutch slippage issues. DSG usually changes down for you anyway.

We are also looking into uprated clutch packs for the DSG box which sould take around 400Nm. This will require a DSG remap but since your going Stage 2 if your getting a new clutch you will want it mapping to match your powerband in sport mode.
