hi again tonight my lovely octy decided that the rear offside door isnt going to open from inside or out.so any idea how i can get the door open

One must assume that ice has not built-up in door seals, and that pulling/ pushing on door, when door unlocked, cannot be opened?

Spraying de-icer in and around door seal area will in time melt offending ice.

Can you hear door solenoid making any sounds when pressing lock/ unlock on your remote control?

No sound indicates solenoid/ door unlock mechanism has failed.

If sound is heard indicates solenoid / release is working, but door handle release mechanism has failed.
