Looks good, what springs did you go for? Any issues with bouncing or catching?

It does feel a tad bouncy. Doesnt scrub at all! Havent scrubbed over speed bumps or anything yet which is good :)

thats how far i want mine to go down i had a h&r -25 mm on my old golf the ride was so nice but there 190 pounds for the springs

That looks spot on for height.

Have you done anythign to the exhaust, cos it seems to be sitting a lot higher than mine. Have you replaced the hangers by any chance?

Looks good man. They should have been this ride height out the factory imo

Yeah went through a load of exhaust rubbers, and found a couple that were slightly shorter and got it more up into the bumper. Looks alot better imo.

I love the height! Actually so chuffed with it!

I like how that sits, think i need to take some arch gap out of mine soon

Cool, i think a 30mm drop is perfect how it sits

Mine is lowered 30mm, too.

But, it looks lower than that at the back. Could the bushings or something be failing on mine?

Guess different make springs ect... Mine are only cheap ones

And i have a empty boot! When its 5 up it looks slammed! Lol

Eibach do not make springs suitable for Mk1 vRS

Yeah they do, Jabbasport sell them on there website and says especially for vrs

Best of luck with the Eibach springs, as the offical EIback site does not list them for VRS mk 1.

I fitted these when i first got my VRS and removed them after a few weeks as they were terrible. I had no confidence in the cars handling

This was covered in a lot of early post's on the subject that may not be easy to find now since the site was revamped...

Maybe EIbach have improved them since 2007.

They list as 30mm there pro kit ones which due to the vrs been 15mm lower than stock lowers it only a little bit which i wanted... As far as quality they've never let me down before but people slagged fk konig sports on my mk3 gti golf but they lasted for the 4 years i had the car and it handled and drove really well

Can always return them if anyone has a better choice of springs tested and proven on one ? P.s what oil do i use in it?

I can only tell you from my experience as i had them fitted and since then have changed my set up around 5 times using various springs, kits etc.

But true that may not mean they are bad for you and you can change them if found to be bad, so just my experience with them was not good.

just need it to drive pretty good still as mrs and kids to transport but will be fitting neuspeed front and rear 25mm anti roll bars too
