Buying advice needed

Featured Replies

Hi folks,

Was looking into buying a (55) Skoda Ocatvia 1.9 Tdi PD Ambiente...

Is there anything in particular i should be checking for....car has only done 37000 mls fsh......

A mate of mines was saying that some were made in Russia and others in germany.....this i'm not sure of....he sad steer clear of the ones made in Russia....But, then he couldn't tell me how to tell the difference......so bit suspicious..

Would really appreciate some advice before splashing out loads ....

This part on Skoda HQ site you might find useful:

http://new.skoda-auto.com/com/worldwide/production/Pages/ProductionAbroad.aspx

But like I said before all are cars and made in the EU owing to import tax etc. Always makes you wonder with the Golf Estate, that's made in Mexico, how cheap they must have made it for owing to import duty/vat!
