5th GEAR FABIA

Featured Replies

On yesterdays 5th gear, the fabia vrs was described as fantastic!!:thumbup:superb best family car:thumbup:

I thought the Fabia might of at least got the runners up spot in there awards, especially as the Citreon Ds3 won the category  . But to be fair i do like the Ds3 but its still a Citreon !! :S :smirk: and it has the most ridiculous over the top DRL's i've seen to date. I'm also a bit biased towards the Fabia

I had a sit in the Citroen DS3, but could not have driven one.

My,not oversized 10 feet, could not operate the pedals. There was no room in the back, except for minute children and no room in the boot.

Yet I saw a test report that described it as 'spacious'.

I tried a lot of cars i.e small cars, bmw 1series,volvoc30,audi a1 and the fiat 500 absolutely no room in the back, only if you did not have any legs these are just 2 seat vehicles not really room for anyone in the back, however the fabia is superior to any of these in leg room and for me build quality.

DLR's are crazy bright on the DS3 and our car's are a little soft in stock form (Or overly hard in the cupra's case). All VW varients lack steering feedback as well.

Couldn't agree more re. lacking steering feel. I'd like to get the Eibach's fitted to help the roll & 4x4 ride hight issues...but the misses equates the £300ish cost as 1 bag & 1 pair of boots!

Gutted :(

My dad had them fitted to his MX5 and my Mum even commented how it was a better ride. Try that one, its for her comfort :giggle:

Just out of interest, what did you think of the Volvo c30? I considered one myself before ordering my latest Fabia.
