Hi,

As a newbie to VCDS Lite, I wondering if, when I open the port, is it looking for the cable, or the OBD port on the car?

At the moment its saying "port open, can't find interface"

Since most/all interface hardware is powered by the car, you actually need to be connected to both to perform the test properly.
