Check your wheel nut covers

Featured Replies

Been out this morning and removed half of Swinley Woods from the inside of the car and thick layer of black M4 muck from the outside.

Doing the front ns wheel I found I have lost one of the wheel nut covers and the other 4 needed pushing back in. The 5 on the os wheel needed pushing on as well.

Seeing as I never lost one in the summer but lost 3 last winter, it looks like the cold weather causes them to loosen and fly off.

Luckily I have a full set of spares from ebay.

Have had trouble in the past and during summertime - always the locking wheel nut ones. No more trouble following the 'Heath Robinson' approach - a spot of Blu-Tack.
